1. Use of Our Website

The content on our website is provided for general information, educational, and nonprofit promotional purposes only. You may not use our website for unlawful purposes, to solicit others to perform unlawful acts, or to infringe upon intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our website if these terms are violated.

2. Programs & Services

Our programs are designed for schools, educators, volunteers, and community members interested in supporting school garden initiatives. Services provided to schools are subject to signed agreements, separate program fees, and additional terms outlined in those agreements. We are not landscapers. Gardens established through our coordination packages are maintained primarily through parent and community volunteers. Our coordinators typically work on-site one day per week, and gardens should not be expected to resemble a professionally landscaped property.

3. Produce from Gardens

All produce harvested from school gardens established through our programs remains the property of the school. Harvests are intended for student taste tests, nutrition education, and/or cafeteria use, as agreed upon by the school.

4. Volunteer Involvement

Volunteers participating in school gardens must follow school and district volunteer policies, including background checks where required. The Organization is not responsible for volunteer actions and requires schools to oversee volunteer compliance with district standards.

5. Donations & Payments

Donations made through our website are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. Program fees for schools are invoiced according to signed agreements and must be paid in full by the due date listed.

6. Intellectual Property

All curriculum materials, lesson plans, images, and resources created by Ready, Set, Grow are our intellectual property and may not be reproduced, distributed, or resold without written permission.

Schools and volunteers participating in our program receive limited use rights for educational purposes only.

7. Limitation of Liability

Our Organization provides programs and services “as is” without warranties of any kind.

We are not liable for damages or injuries resulting from participation in garden programs, use of curriculum, or reliance on materials provided. Schools are responsible for ensuring student safety in garden spaces and complying with district policies.

8. External Links

Our website may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these external sites.

9. Privacy

We collect limited personal information (such as emails for newsletters or sign-up forms) only for nonprofit communication purposes. Personal information will not be sold or shared with third parties except as required by law or to deliver requested services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes must be resolved in state or federal courts located in California.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page, with the “Effective Date” updated accordingly.
